My main interests lie in two areas, the theatre and scuba diving. My interest in musical theatre surfaced at the age of 12, when I saw Jesus Christ Superstar for the first time. The idea that a story could be told so powerfully through music hooked me straight away and from this point an ambition of mine was to produce a musical; something I realised in the winter of 2002. With my family we have travelled to each corner of the United Kingdom , the USA and even Australia to watch shows. My major inspiration through the years has been Cameron Mackintosh and his encouragement has proved invaluable. The summer of 2002 was the dawn of a new venture for me; Bojangles Productions, which is involved in various aspects of theatrical and musical production,the mission statement is simple “to bring quality music and musicals to regional theatres” . Most recently I have been the executive producer on the CD’s George Daniel Long – Me and My Shadow, Colin Roy – The House That Nat Built and also the producer of a musical celbrating the life of Nat King Cole 'The House That Nat Built' starring Colin Roy. Whilst in Australia last year I also realised another ambition, to learn to scuba dive. I am now a qualified PADI open water diver and plan to develop this skill to master diver level.
